so, after carefully studying the pro and cons i finally opened my own business.
I´m currently in Peru. I´ll be signing the final papers and getting the last few legal steps out of the way tomorrow and Monday. As of Monday "JR Investment Properties, s.a.c." We´ll be up and running and i will have purchased my first property(under this company) by next Monday. I had peruvian consultants try to figure out a name and for some reason the Peruvian population loves english terms. Specially "International"!! They wanted to put that word there at all costs. I opted against it. Don´t know if i made the right decision. If you guys could think of clever names please let me know, i can change it anytime before it´s resigtered on monday. some of the names thrown out there were:
Golden Realty Golden Properties JR Property Managment JR Real Estate Miranda Constructores And Santa Lucia Inmobiliria in my moms honor.
My initials are J R M ...
I´m hoping to cash in the latest economic boom in Peru. Properties here are skyrocketing. I bought 3 lots at $160 per square meter 4 months ago and is now valued at $250. I´m pissed i hesitated for so long. Areas where whole blocks could be found for $80 dollars per square meter last year can currently not be touched for under $300. So plans are to start flipping lots.. and eventually .. in over 6 months once i build up enough credit, start building small 3-4 story buildings.
Wish me luck, I´m so extied i can´t sleep!!
IF YOU CAN!!! LOOK UP SCOTIA BANK IN PERU!!! They are PAYING A GUARANTEED 6 PERCENT for short term fondos mutuos! Even medium risk portafolios are having trouble making that over in the US. [ June 14, 2008, 03:32 AM: Message edited by: Jmir018 ]
