Topic: NorCal SVTOA cruise pics...5/31/08

went on a pretty fun cruise today that was put on by Norcal SVTOA...It started on Sunrise blvd in Rancho Cordova. From there we cruised east up HWY 50 past placerville & hung a left on Icehouse rd. After that it was a left on wentworth springs rd & we hit some pretty sweet twisties & saw some nice scenery. I think there were about 16 cars total give or take....On wentworth springs rd we ran in to a sad situation which involved a bike accident where 1 person was pronounced dead on the scene & another was lifeflighted out in critical condition...Its a popular route for bikers, but it is very dangerous & anything can happen up there....
All in all it was a good time & I will most likely setup a cruise like this for CaFords some time this summer....
here are the pics....I didnt bring the Nikon SLR today, so all these were taken with my Casio Exilim point & shoot...

Stopped off at this lake along the way & saw this beautiful 71 Challenger. The guy that owned it said he also owns a 70 AMC Javelin...Lucky MOFO!!!

Yeah we definitely had fun. Me and Epik weren't even sure if we were gonna roll to this one since we're going to the bay tomorrow, but it ended up looking and sounding like fun. I'm glad we went, good scenery and I had fun with the Cobra in the twisties.

I used to ride up and down icehouse road a lot. While its a fun road for motorcycles Ive seen my fair share of people crashing and what not. Its a somber feeling when you dont know if someone is dead or alive after they crash because they arent moving.

Thanks Bro I appreciate it.. The cruise as a blast!! trned out better then i thought..even thoa had about 15 cars flake i stil couldnt ask for anything better
