Another winning CL find.... I guess if they can sucker someone into buying it for their rediculous prices, more power to them... never ceases to amaze me.

haha, i think this is the same guy that was selling a damaged "rare" cobra hood. he was asking about 400 bucks at first and finally its down to 189 on craigslist. he hasnt been able to sell it in over 6 months i'd say. big surprise. he must be special because every part he has is "rare".

lol like it matters how much $ you've spent on a car. when are people going to realize you don't get your money back on modifications to a car

That about like the people wanting $200+ for an Explorer intake, talking about how it's a "GT-40" intake. I hate that crap.
I can go to the local junkyard and several of them for $35 a pop.

i know the price is absurd, but could this simply be a case of someone wanting to avoid low ballers (aside from being delusional, i mean.. 17k for a 95 gt?) There is another thread where someone complained about ridiculous low ball offers and the remedy offered by some members was to price the item(s) at well above asking price(leaving room for negotiations.)
Maybe he's asking for 17k, but is willing to take 1.700 like someone already said.. haha I need to learn from this guy.. i always sell my stuff TOO cheap. my asking price is always my -as low as i'll go- price
Anyone wanna buy a ford racing driveshaft safety loop for only $$$500???? [ May 24, 2008, 10:43 AM: Message edited by: Jmir018 ]

Craigslist is a free service, so you find a lot of half serious sellers out there that are "testing the waters"
This guy who is selling the car for $18K likely has no real intention to sell.
In fact my fox coupe is for sale for $50,000 if anyone is interested. Will be posted on CL later today
