Congrats bud. My fiance is going to be induced june 1st, but with a few things lately we have a good feeling she'll be going into labor before next friday. My daughter will be a 8+ lbs baby ![[Eek!]](eek.gif)

i just talked to my buddy tony's wife she said the same thing. they've been doing more a more studies an babies are backwards. an the mothers then to have better feeding during the nights.
i remember i had to get my daughter slap her on my wifes boob an go back to bed . lol wow that was 8yrs ago dayum time flies glad to see everythings is going good. kids are great wouldnt change if for the life of me.

Thanks everyone for the congrats but if ya'll can do me a favor and pray for me and my family it would be much apreciated.
We went on for a first wellnes check today may 19th. They took her blood due to her being a little jondas. They call us back an hour later and tell us to bring her to the hospital and admitted her.Now she's in an incubator with a shit load of lights on her. Her count was 8 when we left the hospital sunday and was 20 when they called. I just left the hospital and went to pick my boy up from his grandmothers( since i can't stay in the pediatrics ward). Wife just called me and told me it went up to 22 now. I know nothing about jondas i know i had it as a kid am not sure if it's life threatening but it breaks mine and my wife heart to see my 3 day old little girl like that.If you guys can just say a little prayer for us.

hope everything goes well.. i think we had to stay an extra day cause my son was to color i think they called it. due to jondas. An now to this day my son is pretty white just like his mom. definantly doesnt have the same skin as me an my daughter. lol my prayers are with u an ur family

no prob randall, sorry bout the lil situation tho, but i do gotta say Jaundice is a pretty common thing for babies, some got issues, and some dont.. are you guys in pedi ward? or NICU (neonatal intensive care unit)?
i tell pts all the time whatever you do, dont read up on it! it just really makes things worse, and builds your imagination up to being something it really isnt. just ask your doctor what it is, whats causing it, what else you can do, what will be done? and then if no kind of answer, then look into it.
basically as of right now, your baby is just getting tanned up. because of the discoloration of the skin. good luck! and your in our prayers.
