i got a rim that has a 1in crack in the belly of the rim in between the to rim lips. wondering if their is any one out there that can tig weld the aluminum together. just hair line crack still holds air just leaks ever so lightly.. thanx JOHN

what rim...many cases it cheaper to just buy the replacement rim and use the fucked up one as a hose real or some shit. Maybe a bar stool.

Try Skibo's machine and welding here in Stockton (off Fremont and 99) 462-7889
We had a wheel guy (Kelleys) that did fantastic wheel work but has since gone under
Skibo does aluminum, cast iron and just about anything else and does it extremely well, give him a call and see if he would take it on.

if you cant find anyone let me know, i think my dad still has his tig welder. Ill check, he does a lot of welding to his race car and at work. Hes no Jesse James but should be able to do it.
