Hey Everyone,
I'd like to say thanks to those who've helped me w/ purchasing a home (advice, links, etc..)
I'm searching for rates now.. i've talked to Quicken Loan (online) and got a best of 6.9 % for 30 year fixed and a 5.9% fixed 30 year from Band of America (local)..
I was wondering if you guys know any great lenders out there?? especially someone local i can talk to..
Thanks CAFORDS!

Try www.CREDITBOARDS.com and ask any questions there. They are IMO the best credit advice website on the net. For credit problems/mortgage/medical collections etc, etc..... [ April 22, 2008, 11:21 PM: Message edited by: Venomized93 ]

The best I can say is shop around.

I'd say stay local, unless you are completely comfortable reading legal jargon from online or out of state companies who claim that the loan may be fixed. They may forget to tell you its fixed for 3 years only. Deal with somebody in person and take the time to talk to sit down and talk with them. If you cant get a loan by walking into a regular bank, then maybe you shouldnt be getting a new loan instead of getting some loan land mine that will explode on you in the next couple of years.
