different rear wing. different hood/headlights. bullit style wheels of course. different style stereo set up, I think the rear defrost button looks a little better too. I think its mainly appearance...not sure if the tranny is different. I forgot what year they switched the tranny to the T3650. I sold my stang back in late 04 so I forgot all this now haha sorry thats all i remember.

i would get the 04 because...
-smoked headlights. 2000 has the ugly chrome headlights
-6 disc changer. 2000 has a single disc
-3650 trans i believe. 2000 has a T5 i believe
-one touch window button to make window fully go down on both sides. 2000 has one tough only for the driver side.
-hood is the same with the exception of a hood scoop on the 01-04. [ April 14, 2008, 12:09 AM: Message edited by: CobraTerritory ]

everything is interchangeable, the headlights would take you about 5minutes to pull out and replace with new ones

They 04 has a Romeo block vs. the 00 windsor block. Some people say that the Romeo block takes the mods better. Not sure if this is true or not. Tranny is also different. The 00 has a T-45, and yes the 04 is a T3650. Benefits of the T3650 is the gearing. 5th is a true overdrive, and 1st through 4th are alot closer in ratio. Suspensions are the same and has been the same for a long time. Nothing to really worry about in that department.
