2 separate Mustang teams competing in Formula Drift professional drift series are looking for a couple of guys to serve as pit crew during our competition weekends. This isn't a paying position, we're not ballin. We will cover all expenses, including hotel, travel, and food, etc.
What we need.
We're looking for mechanically inclined guys. Figured this is the best place to look. One team is running a Foose built/sponsored S197 supercharged mustang. The other car is a Griggs Racing built/sponsored Supercharged Fox body.
Your responsiblities will include; Nut & bolting (checking and rechecking for loose bolts, etc.) Tire changing/monitoring (Frequent and always rushed) Cleaning (cars must look good at all times) Fueling Transport(you might need to help deliver our cars, setup, etc using our trucks, trailers, etc)This usually means lots of driving and little sleep. We will be traveling all across the US. Check out www.FormulaDrift.com for the schedule. What you get in return; This is fast paced hard work during the day, but party-party party as soon as we're off the track. Do you like to hang out with rediculously hot umbrella girls, get free stuff? We get special access to premier parties, events, etc etc. You'll get a team uniform, and of course all access pit psses to every drift event. Other benefits will be getting our discounts & sponsorship benefits for your own car. We will help out anyone helping us. Tires? Parts? Mostly, we need guys that are just down to do a bit of work, have lots of fun, and learn a LOT! I did this for 2 years with my friend who drives for Falken before becoming a competitor myself. If you're interesed, please contact us. Must be atleast 18, have a valid drivers license, and have a good attitude, and be ok with being on TV (just a realistic possibility). Please contact me @ dpracingdan@hotmail.com

Yeah this is mostly for guys with flexible job hours or who are in school. Great hands on experience learning to setup cars for different tracks, learning the industry, etc. Wish I could pay, but need the proper funding first.

I did this exact same thing for a Nascar SRL team for a season. We went all over Ca and had a blast..... race all day and party all night. If I wasn't involved with a local race team now I'd be all over this!!!!

Yeah its really a party man. Race all day, party all night! My buddy last year came out and found himself doing his first TV interview only 1 hour into the event. Hotel parties with the models (who are actually really cool chicks), and just the access alone is worth it. The first event of this year will be at the Long Beach Grand Prix, with 300,000 people in attendance. Last year we got to meet all the Champ Car drivers, American Lemans Drivers, and even meet Kendra (Hugh Heffners girlfriend) since she was competing in the Celebrity grand prix. Its a blast!

We had our first work weekend on the Drift Patrol this past weekend. It was a serious thrash to get the car dyno-tune ready by early this week. Special thanks to my new crew members Marcus, Juan and helping friend Kevin. You guys did some serious work, and I cant wait to get her all buttoned up. I still have 1 or 2 more guys I might bring on, but so far Marcus and Juan have proven themselves more than worthy. Thanks again guys!
