bought one for my foxbody about three years ago. fit and finish was terrible. i returned it since i didn't want to spend the hundreds of dollars they told me i'd have to give them to make it fit. heard other people had better luck with them though.

I know of a few people who had similar experiences with there Maier hoods. One of them actually did end up keeping there hood, but there was major work involved in getting it to be a good fitting/looking finished product.

I bought one for my 69 Stang a while ago and it sucked. They are hit and miss...

Here is the hood that Yellow94gt was talking about. There was a lot of work done to make this hood look right and fit right. But the end results are second to none.

its hit or miss i have a hood that fits good not great, a trunk that fits very badily, and a front apron that fits perfectly. the hood needed mild work while the trunk cost more in work than i paid for it. i bought all this stuff 6 years ago. let what ever you buy from them sit in the sun for a month before you do any work to it.

I have a couple. The fit is terrible but if you have a good polished paint job, it looks good from a distance.

I have 2 maier hoods one 2" fit terrible out the box had to spend more than the price of the hood to make it fit right, looks great now. Also have a 3" maier hood also fits terrible.
Just ordered a cervinis 3" cowl hood I was blown away by the quality it looks awesome very nice hood. It looks better out the box in gel coat than my other maier hood does after paint!!!

I use to work at Maier, the hoods do fit like shit, the Cervini cowl hood fits perfect, I have the 3" Maier Cowl on my 88 GT, it took a day of work to make it look perfect, I think the shape of a Maier Cowl hood looks the best.
