Welcome to Norcal LS1's 1st Raffle brought to you by:
Hi Performance Machine & Newtech Performance!
We are having a raffle to raise money for the Norcal LS1 Club, a nonprofit organization. We plan on using the money we raise to have bigger, better, and more events like our yearly Shootout at Sacramento Raceway!
Enter for your chance to win one of three prizes:
(1) GRAND PRIZE: A Toshiba Regza 37" HDTV
(1) FIRST PRIZE: A 20GB XBox 360
(1) SECOND PRIZE: $200 Cash
The raffle is open to EVERYONE OVER THE AGE OF 18 and prize drawings will be held during the lunch break at the Norcal Autox on April 20, 2008. You do not need to be present to win.
HOW TO PURCHASE TICKETS:
1. PAYPAL TO norcal_ls1@yahoo.com. Ticket stubs will be mailed to the name and address associated with the Paypal payment.

Tickets will be available for purchase from Feb 1 to April 20 at noon before lunch break for the Norcal Autox. Raffle is open to anyone over 18 except for Norcal LS1 officers and their immediate families. Full rules are below.
Norcal LS1 Car Club Raffle Rules:
Official Rules
RAFFLE DESCRIPTION: Tickets for the Norcal LS1 Car Club Raffle (“Norcal LS1”) will be sold beginning February 1, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time and ending April 20, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time ("Raffle Period"). Raffle tickets may be purchase one of two ways: 1) payment to Norcal LS1 through paypal to the Club email address norcal_ls1@yahoo.com . Upon receiving payment, purchaser’s information will be entered on the corresponding number of tickets purchased, tickets entered into the raffle and matching ticket stubs will be detached and mailed to the email address of payment. The purchase price of one (1) Raffle Ticket is $5.00. Ticket bundles may be purchased for the following amounts: five-ticket (5) pack for $20.00; and fifteen-ticket (15) pack for $50.00. Payment by mail or in person may be made by cash, check, or money order. Checks or money orders should be made payable to the Norcal LS1 Car Club. Payments are not refundable. If a participant’s check is declined, his or her ticket will be invalid unless full payment is received prior to the final ticket sale date. A $20.00 fee will be charged for any declined checks. All sales are final and no refunds will be issued.
ELIGIBILITY: Raffle is open to legal residents of the State of California 18 years of age or older. Norcal LS1 Club officers and their immediate family are ineligible to purchase raffle tickets.
PRIZES: One (1) GRAND PRIZE: A Toshiba Regza 37HL67 37” Widescreen LCD HDTV (retail value $1,199.00). One (1) FIRST PLACE PRIZE: A 20GB XBOX 360 (retail value $349.99). One (1) SECOND PLACE PRIZE: $200 in cash. No substitution or transfer of prize is permitted. Norcal LS1 reserves the right to substitute any prize with one of equal value in the event any prize is unavailable. Norcal LS1 in its sole discretion may extend the Raffle Period and/or reschedule the Raffle drawing.
RAFFLE DRAWING: Random drawing to award prizes will take place on on April 20, 2008 from among all eligible Raffle tickets purchased during the Raffle Period. Drawing will be in reverse order beginning with least valuable prize ("SECOND PRIZE") and continuing up to most valuable prize ("GRAND PRIZE"). Limit one (1) prize per eligible person. Raffle ticket holders need not be present at the time of the drawing to win. All prize winners will be announced on the date of the drawing. All prize winners will be notified by phone and/or mail and/or email using contact information provided on their Raffle Ticket. Names of prize winners will also be made available at www.norcal-ls1.com after April 20, 2008. Only those named as the ticket purchaser on a valid winning Raffle Ticket are eligible to claim a prize, and such persons may be required to provide proof of identification acceptable to Norcal LS1. If a potential winner is found to be ineligible, has not complied with these Official Rules or, despite Norcal LS1’s reasonable efforts to contact the potential winner, does not respond within twenty (20) business days of the first notification attempt, such potential winner will forfeit his or her prize and an alternate winner may be selected in another random drawing from among the same eligible tickets as the previous drawing.
ODDS: The odds of winning a prize vary and are dependent on the number of eligible raffle tickets purchased during the Raffle Period. No more than 5,000 Raffle tickets will be sold.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: Winners shall be solely responsible for all federal, state and/or local taxes, including but not limited to, income and sales tax and all federal and state withholding requirements. Norcal LS1 shall have no responsibility or obligation to pay any taxes as a result of presentation of prizes. By purchasing Raffle Ticket, buyer agrees to all rules and regulations herein. Norcal LS1 makes no claim to warranties, guarantees, or representation either expressed or implied to any of the prizes. Winners agree on acceptance of prize that Norcal LS1 and its affiliates are not held liable for injuries, loss, or damage due to acceptance and/or use of the prizes awarded. Norcal LS1 reserves the right to cancel or extend the raffle if the minimum of 500 tickets is not reached by the end of the Raffle Period. In the event that Norcal LS1 cancels the raffle, all purchased tickets will be refunded.

We actually thought of that, but since this is our first raffle we wanted something anyone could enjoy.
