Finally got the new front suspension done on the black LX. Installed MM CC plates, MMR coil overs, Strange struts, AJE K-member, D&D A-arms, & EnergySuspension motor mounts. Also installed some BBK 1 3/4" LT's with cleaned ports & Dr.Gas 3" collectors... Still waiting for my 3" ProChamber & still haven't decided on which 3" mufflers & what rear suspension to finish her off with. Thinking maybe 3" Magnaflows & Strange shocks?
Had to grind the nipple off the motor mounts to fit the K-member
Cleaned up ports
New header on left (3" collector) , old header (2.5") on the right [ February 09, 2008, 07:39 PM: Message edited by: STREETFIGHTER50 ]

Sup Tee, still got them aquariums? Sup Luke, never ran it yet. Hopefully this summer. Dilema now is: What 3" mufflers should I run? What should I do for the rear suspension? Thinkin maybe Magnaflows to keep her a little quiet & a combo of Strange shocks, Baseline Pro-Launch #1 uppers, & MM or J&M adjustable lowers with my cut stock springs sound good?? I would do J&M weight jackers lowers, FMS/Steeda uppers, and keep the stock springs with some 50/50 Lakewoods or Strange rear shocks...
Keep it simple and effective. I love my J&M weight jackers with the spherical bearing. [ February 09, 2008, 10:04 PM: Message edited by: Luke87GT ]

Your rear suspension parts list sound good. Those BL uppers are nice, use the strange shocks, and the MM or JM lowers would be good. Even the Wolfe adjustable lowers too. Should hook pretty good with some stickys.

Are you planning on running a rear sway bar?
I run a Wolfe Racecraft one, and highly recommend it, or one similar over a stock bar and air bags. I am also planning on trying a set of Baseline Uppers.

No plans for a Victor intake just yet, but I may install my 80mm mass air, 75mm TB, & 36lb injectors after all the suspension & exhaust. I'll let u know fo sho when I go to the track!
Well I will be goin with the Basline upper kit & one of the weight jacker style lowers. I'd like to also get a torque box reinforcement kit... I forgot who it was, but someone here had a bad experience with the J&M lower control arms

Lookin good Nick...U should look into the MM extreme duty adj. LCA's with the spherical bearings on both ends... i blew out my poly bushings in my MM HD LCA's with a measly 300 rwtq only 1 time 2 the track... XD's are the way to go....I have a set that I am gonna swap in once I do my rear coilovers & torque arm...
I think the Torque box reinforcements u are thinking of are called "Battle Boxes" by Wild rides.. heres a link...

The wild rides battle boxes are a nice addition. I run them on my car as well as welded up TQ boxes.
As for the lower control arms, don't even waist your time with maximum motor sports stuff on your car. If you are going to drag race it, buy suspsension parts from a company who biulds drag racing parts. I would look no farther then Wolfe Racecraft myself. They are the MM of drag racing.
I know some people are going to wonder about street manners for the Wolfe stuff, and let me tell you it's great. I run BL uppers and Wolfe lowers/adjustable swaybar with strange shocks and the car is wonderfull on the street and second to nun at the track for this type of combo.
Once you have eveything installed there will be a learning curve for tuing your suspension and launching the car. So just be ready to not have your best day ever at the track right off the bat.

Well I do wanna drag race it, but it's mostly gonna be a street car. Drew, do u have to fiddle with the adjustments often when u take her to the track or just set it & it's good for both track & street? Which lowers are u runnin? http://www.wolferacecraft.com/detail.aspx?ID=264 or http://www.wolferacecraft.com/detail.aspx?ID=266
& what do yall think of runnin coil overs in the rear vs stock style springs? Thinkin of gettin these with some Lakewood 50/50's http://www.corral.net/forums/showthread.php?t=969689 [ February 15, 2008, 11:15 PM: Message edited by: STREETFIGHTER50 ]

Not yet. U don't wanna see the 67 right now Here's some more parts that just came from UPS. Dr.Gas 3" X-pipe & Flowtubes, Thrush Welded chambered mufflers (Flowmaster lookalikes), & Flowmaster 3" turndowns. Hopefully with the opened up headers & full 3" exhaust I gain a little bit.
Inside the X:
Almost identicle to Flows, material & everything for $30!
Just gotta get it welded together soon!
