Here are a few before and after shots. This is the first day we've had without rain so I snapped a couple shots with the new lift and wheel/tire combo.

Sik Jeep! My Jeep is down at the moment, my driverside locking hub is blown. Have to wait for the new ones to come in. I was wondering why i was having trouble climbing stuff too. I think its been broken for a year. [ January 27, 2008, 12:50 AM: Message edited by: 532Fastback ]

I'm guessing that you agree with me that Toyota only builds practical cars and trucks of the soul-less variety.

Thanks. I'll probably wait for a bit and do both the gears and lockers at the same time.

Do you actually wheel it or is it a pavement ponder?

I'm a jeep fan, but like they're going in a better direction. Unibodys and IFS?

UMMMM... actually, yes. The last place I went was out to the Sierra Buttes. Still, I'm not one to beat the living piss out of my daily driver. The roughest I've been on is a 6 with a short stretch of 7. Anything more than that and you start beating stuff up. No sense in speeding up the depreciation on something you're making payments on.
And for the record, I used to have an '85 Toyota 4Runner... probably one of the better trail rigs. Toyota hasn't built anything worth having in years.
