NEW YORK (Jan. 22) - Heath Ledger was found dead Tuesday at a downtown Manhattan residence, and police said drugs may have been a factor. He was 28.
NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said Ledger had an appointment for a massage at the Manhattan apartment believed to be his home. The housekeeper who went to let him know the masseuse had arrived found him dead at 3:26 p.m.

yea i was just hearing and reading about it =(
i never saw Broke Back, but i have seen 10 things i hate about you, and a knights tale a few times. He was a great actor and its horrible to hear of his passing =(

WOW my mom was telling me some actor died and i thought she was telling me about some actor i read about dying last week so i told her i knew about it and it was some weird actor. I didn't know it was this guy.

I can't imagine why he would kill himself, he just played a roll that probably made him a lot of money. From what i've seen in the previews he looks like a pretty good actor. I always thought he was some kind of love actor, didn't think he had it in him to play something else.
