selling my cobra on craigslist and i get this email:
am interested in your item and i will be paying you through check but i have to tell you what i do i am an agent and i deal on commission for a living i get whatever my client need and make sure it gets to the destination in a short while ........................................for example when my clients need anything they will contact me and i will find it for them and i contact the seller and the seller give me a price and i add a little on it to cover the shipping damages and so on and including profit for myself ...................................so please i need your total honesty to do this so once you recieve the check kindly take the check to the bank when you receive it and it will get cleared in the next 2 day you will deduct your money for the item and send the remaing balance to my store kepper through WESTERN UNION MONEY TTRANSFER for him to schedule the pickup of the item ok.so if this is ok by you kindly get back to me with your final asking price and your full name and full contact address so i can go ahead with your payment thanks

Anything that starts with a story like that is a TOTAL SCAM! Give him your address.
