Epic!
That's how I can describe it in one word! I was waist deep in the white stuff and lovin it. I snowboard and I can't imagine a better weekend.
Went to Kirkwood on Fri and Sat. Man 12 feet of new snow makes up for the past two seasons being crappy!
If you missed, don't miss the coming weekend. Hell, pay the higher holiday fees, you won't be disappointed!

I was out at South Lake Tahoe from Wednesday to Saturday, believe it or not first time going to the snow. Snowboarding for the first time was hard on my ass but it was some fun shit haha. Im hooked now, hopefully I can go back soon.

I was there Saturday at sierra and Sunday at northstar. Had a blast on both days. Hit the black diamonds for the first time and stayed with it both days. Just started snowboarding a season and half ago. The first two days of learning snowboarding kicked my ass. Since then its been great. Can't wait to go again!

Did anybody show up today 1/27/08. Holy Shit, today was crazy. It was as deep as the off trails, pretty much every part of the mountain. Except the greens because they were groomed.

well i was up north lake tahoe last weekend for the 3 day MLK weekend... condintions were ok for 2 week old snow...it did start snowing in the afternoon sunday all the way though monday...hated the 7 hour drive back. i bet this weekend was sick..

I went that weekend too but I boarded at Heavenly. Too many people there though! The 7 hr drive sucked going home but there was alot of ladies at the casinos ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

I too, made the smart last minute decision to drive to Heavenly just for a pass someone already paid for me. I rode all fucking day, then got snowed in. Stayed at a hole in the wall. Good times

Killer snow weekend. Took the lil girl up for her 4th b-day and my 8 month old boy up for his first snow trip! We stayed in a Twain Harte where it was constant rain. We made our way up to Dodge and then the snow started coming down strong. It was badass. We ate at Strawbeery Inn which overlooked the Mountains with TONS of snow falling the whole time. We were hoping to get snowed in but damnit it let up towards the end of the day...........The way the forecst looks there will be MANY more weekends like it to come!

yeah i go to kirkwood since it's only 2 1/2 hours from the bay area.
last weekend was F*ckin awesome too! 3 feet fresh pow.
