i wanna try to put 285/40/18 in the back of my 92 GT,would they fit,i have a two inch drop...would i have to take off the quad shock.??

pretty vague question. u need to provide more info on what exactly your suspension/brake and wheel setup are. the short answer is yes, you can fit it...just depends.

its stock suspension n stock drum brakes n the back. the only thing is dat it has a ebach 2 1/2 inch drop. the wheels are 18/9 i have to 245 rite now it clears perfect, i tried 275 slicks n it rub a little on the quad shock. But i want it to come out the fender a little more that why i want 285s..
