I've never liked the asymmetrical look on anything. It looks unbalanced. It would look better if the thinner stripe was on both sides and the center stripe was narrower. Better than that would be nothing at all.

how about this setup?
Techart
it's similar in design, but i think this looks a lot cleaner. i hate seeing the little side stripe, it reminds me of an import.

I think it looks pretty badass on that viper but I'm not sure it'll translate well on a mustang.

if you do a black you got to go all out on paint quality cause if you dont it just look like any other black car.

My vote is for all red (lose the black around the license plate). But it's your car, so paint it however you think looks good.

this decision sux!...lol...i want it to look unique...the color is amazing ..unlike any other red ive ever seen, thts why im contemplateing leaveing it all red...thta custom viper paint job may actually make it easyier to paint cuz matching the red is nearly imposible as the entire car may be getting painted agian for like the 4th time...still have time to decied...ur thoughts will produce the finall outcome

I dont think that scheme will look good with your interior. If your interior was black I would say roll with it. But I guess I am a little old school. I always believed your paint should compliment your interior and vice versa.
If you wanna be truly different go get your interior dipped with something custom. [ December 05, 2007, 09:30 PM: Message edited by: N8 ]

not to copy someone else's idea but...
black hood with matt clear, black spoiler with matt clear. the rest of your car glossy red.
