I'm looking to get my Cobra shipped to Phoenix from the East Bay...i'm wondering if anyone has any shipper that they've used that's trust worthy. I've heard the open shipping is dangerous (my car is low). I have quotes in a closed container for about $1K. Does that sound about right?

Because i've had so many issues with it's driveability, and there seems to be no one in the bay area that can figure this car out. I bought it 4 years ago and have driven it maybe 500 miles (gone through 2 motors)...fuel issues, ect. It's been to every shop around. I'm hoping I can find someone in Phoenix that can help. Anyone?

1000 to Pheonix enclosed is about right. I'm in the car hauling business and my buddy was doing enclosed for a while and now we both do open 3-4 car haulers. Open your probably in the 700-800 range or roughly $1 per mile. Enclosed is usually in the 1.25-1.50 range per mile depending on overall distance.

If you want your car fixed and fixed right, take it to HCI Motorsports in Sacramento, CA... They do great work and even have a year warranty on thier motors.
