ok truth be known....
I've known about this for a while now. He and I have talked before about this set up on Supraforums. He has been working on it for several years. This set up has been talked about before on supraforums but so far no one we know of has done it. However, now we seem to have a winner!!! Damn this shit is cool this is actually the only mustang I would ever consider owning!
This is one sick ass set up!!! I would like to do it to a notch. A few asked why he did it to a hatch. Well us supra owners have hatch cars so its just a personal preference. Plus we talked about doing lexan windows and such. He's looking to get this car into the 2300 lb range. With the power of this car and its light weight it will be NASTY.
I just may pick up another spare motor and get started on a project like this. I really don't need another project but damn this one really makes me want to start one!

When does cummins ever get butthurt... you poke him with a twig and he seems to come out of left field and strikes you with a tree branch. Pretty entertaining though

I can see it now... someone from this site will end up building a Supra with a turbo 331 that could never even come close to the numbers a certain black supra.
If Cummins builds a stang, it will be quick!

Is this the only mustang you would own because it has the 2jz? Why wouldnt you own a v8 turbo'd motor?

Wow, can't fault the quality of work there. I think I'd have gone with a 9" rear and spent a little more time smoothing the engine bay but DAMN THATS SICK!

bummer for him twice the work and and 2 seconds slow for his efforts. We have had turbo foxes on this site run mid 7's with SBF's. . Go run it at a fun ford weekend like Fontana and feel stupid LOL

who ran mid 7s from here with sbf/boosted?
i thought the fastest guy here has a mustang with a CHEVY motor. hahaha
i really like builds like this. thinking out of the box. its people like corrol shelby that started these ideas. Take a lightweight European car and put a domestic motor in it.
many manufacturers have done this. pontiac with a toyota motor...etc i can go on and on.
we all know supras produce good power and relatively inexpensive to upgrade compared to other motors because of the over development on the motor from factory. stick that into a perfect drag chassis and you got one quick SOAB!
