Seconds after killing a 21-year-old father during a suspected home-invasion robbery on Friday, two suspects fired a bullet into the head of the man's 7-month-old son who was seated in a car seat, police said this weekend as they released new details on the case.
Investigators initially reported that the father, Sean Paul Aquitania, was killed inside a home after an attempted robbery and that his infant son, Sean Paul Aquitania Jr., was accidentally caught in the crossfire. But a more thorough investigation throughout the weekend determined that the son had been murdered execution-style in the car seat of his dad's Chevrolet Malibu.
"We are angered as law enforcement officers and disturbed as human beings that anyone could commit such an unconscionable act against an innocent child," said sheriff's spokesman Sgt. Tim Curran.
Authorities are still searching for the suspects, Curran said.
Aquitania — who had tattoos of his baby's hand and footprint on his forearms — drove to a home on Country Greens Court shortly before 2 p.m. Friday to visit friends. He left the infant in the car and went to the front door. Two young men answered, and two other men ran up and forced their way inside, Curran said.
A melee erupted, and Aquitania received at least two bullets in the upper body. The two suspects ran away, stopping to shoot the baby. No one else was injured, Curran said.
A 24-year-old man inside the house ran to his car and drove to get help, Curran said, and a 21-year-old man ran out of the house, scooped the baby out of the car and went door to door looking for help.
A school bus driver saw the 21-year-old man and the baby, opened the doors and held the dying infant, Curran said. The baby was taken to UC Davis Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead about 5:15 p.m.

That shit could be as minor as the dad cut them off on the freeway or somehting lame. People be carefull and aware of your surroundings...I"D NEVER JUST LEAVE MY KID IN THE CAR!!! EVER!
My wife wont even pull into our street if antoher car is behind her she'll circle the block...I do the same thing. FUCK THAT!

thats a good point...but something like this is on a personal level, or retaliation.... Random acts of violence or shootings dont go that far.

Man if they catch the dude that shot the kid (and I hope they do). He is gonna get it in prison. And I hope it gets it the worst way. Absolutely no reason to shoot the child. I cant think of no revenge that is worth killing a 7 month old baby.

My girlfriends mom lives out in sac and was telling us about this yesterday. It really brings your heart to a low point hearing about a baby getting killing. He is a sick fuck. I hope this man suffers.

something I don't understand is there is NO description of the two men. There were two men in the house but did they even give a description, and all these gun shots at least three and no one saw anything...get away car, people running? And if there is any of this info why doesn't the public get it so we can keep our eyes peeled. fuckin lame

ya that was some crazy chit , i feel bad for the mom of the kid she lost her baby daddy and her baby , and on top of that a couple days ago a guy that i know got shot 4 times in the chest walking out the front door of his work , and nobody knows why if it was personal or a robbery cuz he has a foxbody and the guy that shot him smashed off in his own foxbody

Man, when I seen this on TV I thought this dude was a gang banger or a baller that got caught up in some shiet. But after seeing AL STOCK post looks like he was a stand up guy!
Either way it makes me so sick to my stomach, especially having a 4 month old son myself.
Man when the dude or dudes that did this shiet hit the PEN it is game over.
My boy got shot in Martinez this past June and dude that did it is in County for trial and has been served up in there 2 times already.
Man I just cant imagine.....
It hits me harder having a child now and I am sure it has hit other parents harder.

I hate to say it but when your friend doesnt want to help because he doesnt want to be a snitch, I doubt that everyone there was a standup guy as you say, I know for sure anyone I know snitch or not would help 100% Yes they should be killed and no it will never happen in this society we live in, just a wake up call to everyone, they let all these pieces of shit out of jail with slaps on thier wrist and this is what happens, I really hope the family is OK

Like everyone said these guy's deserve to be punished in the cruelist way's known to mankind.
