so, yeah, it was a matter of time.
I injured my ribs.
i'm so pissed. This means i won't fight late September.
I believed i hurt them on Saturday, still went to class on Monday and did really well even though i was hurting.
Yesterday all the guys i fought were heavier, and although i told the mofos to only go 50percent they would not listen.
I was barely able to sleep last night. i can't even sit still and not have pain.
Guess this is it for me. i don't believe my ribs are broken. i'm sure they are just bruised or something.
If they were broken would you get external bruises? i don't wanna go to the doctor unless i must.
How long does it take for ribs to heal properly?

My buddy broke 2 ribs. It took him around 6 months to heal.

i went to the emergency room last night. Ribs are not broken, just bruised and one swollen? i didn't know bones could get swollen? maybe i misunderstood him..
He said, no jiu jitsu for atleast a month and to take it easy, sent me home with some pain killers.

whats swollen is the meat around your ribs and not the bones themselves.
