I had a somewhat similar situation back in 2000, my sons mom came and took him for the weekend like she always did, then never brought him back, she lived up in El Dorado. I called the Sac Sheriff's Dept, and they said I needed to call the El Dorado County Sheriffs Dept, I called them and they said I had to call Sac Sheriffs, back and forth, then they said "well theres no custody order so theres nothing we can do about it. She forged some paperwork giving her grandma legal guardianship and moved out of state. To this day I'm still dealing with it. You need to have her go talk to a "Family Law Facilitator" in your county's court house and get some legal barrier against him immediately. I wish I did but I had some trust in her and thought we could do things without the damn government involved but sometimes that stuff doesn't work out. First off get a lawyer and fight for custody. You can't do shit right now both parents have a right to that child. Get custody first and make sure to do it with a good lawyer. Then the rest will follow. Your parents can't do shit right now either. Well they can help fund the legal fees and give moral and financial support but that's about it.
