Feeling pretty good about it. After being stuck on 365 for what seemed like forever. I finally hit 405 2 times on the bench press (one time clean no lift off and second rep needed a lil push to lock out). Only sharing here because some of the folks here gave me advice that helped me get over that plateau. Also lost alot of weight with some of the advice. Now 6-1 210..

Thats not a bad dimension depending on its distribution. I got up to 225 at one point. Wasnt feeling it. I probably wont try 405 for a while. My muscles hurt like hell right now. I havent had this pain since I started working out.

its all good as long as you dont look top heavy. i laugh at some of these muscle heads that are all buff up top but could barely squat 200lbs. what comes to mind if they get into a fight all you gotta do is kick em in the leg to break them twigs..haha. i cant imagine how long it would take for me to train enough to bench 400lbs...shit where is cobrajeep50. he's probably at 500 by now.

Be thankful you can do that. I got into a car accident and fucked up my shoulder. Can't even use most free weights nowadays without a lot of extra pain.

Good job! I haven't lifted heavy weight in 2 months. I've lost 20 pounds in those 2 months too. My Captain likes to run 5-8 miles a day and thats pretty much my workouts now. Today we did a 7 mile hike up and down hill while doing indians with 45lbs on our back, it was hella hard. I was messed up the entire day, infact i am going to bed now.

congrats on a good lift, esp for your weight. I did that weight a long time ago. Now I'm just too old and everything hurts so I'm never going to see that kind of weight again.

Holy Shit 5 plates???....I have never seen that on a bench bar. Thats just plain freaky. Yea I am getting up there in age too, my body is still recouping from that lift. I must have ripped every chest muscle I have. Shit hurts. I think I will stay at 315-365 from now on.
