My first 2 were DOA and my 3rd now is acting up. I backed out on sending mine in since it takes some time fo rthe repair.

i know one guy that said his fan shorted out his power brick but ive had the same fan on mine for a long ass time with no probs.im also on my 1st 360 and ive had mine since launch day.ps3 WILL have its problems too.at least ours will only go 2 states up instead of the other side of the world

Thats cool. I have been noticing my Power Brick thing has been acting up. Turns off every so often.

does this also cover the mother board malfunctions? my brother has one that malfuntioned and gave it to me to fix it if i wanted it.

if you get the 3 red lights of death then yes. If it isnt they are offering to do other fixes for 99 bucks.

my brother just brought it over in a special ups box they sent him from texas,so were going to send it out to get it fixed. for free xbox 360's

i sent the xbox out and they emailed back sayin it will be 4 to 6 weeks to be fixed and sent back, free of charge.

Unfortunately im on my 3rd pos 360. It started to freeze up a few days ago. now it shows the 3 lights.

Not sure how you guys are playing them, but the xbox needs massive ventilation. Dont set it on the rug or have it in a enclosed area like a stereo cabinet. And if you have surround sound dont set it on top of the amp or other components. Oh and dont get one of those intercooler things. The processor on those things generate alot of heat that is the reason for just about 90% of the ring of death errors. Shouldnt have to go through that tho, still sucks. My original xbox is a 1st gen and it is still kickin after all these years.
