Well I got billed 250.00 is that alot? I paid it of course but it just seemed like alot. He said 60 per pund of r12. I required 2.5lbs. plus labor then tax of course. Does that sound about right. I may have to go flash on homeboy if he got me. It seems that this is about the going rate. I am kinda cool with it since it seems this is about right for a non-friend hook up. And the AC is ICE COLD. Either the system was opened, if so the seals may have issues, or there is already a leak somewhere. "Generally" a good shop will not just fill up a system without doing a diagnostic/pressure test to verify the freon will not just be leaked out.
