I am pretty sure that this is an age old question and been posted several times, but the hell with it. As the title says, I am curious on what everyone takes, if anything, and what works. If it helps: I'm 20 years old, 5'8, weigh about 148ish, and have a hard time putting on weight. I just started going back to the gym since my workers comp injury. My goal is to bulk up and stay agile. My plan is to attend the sheriff's academy in January; therefore I have about six months to get to where I want to be. I know that there is obviously no magical supplement that is going to make me stronger overnight or without dedication and effort in the gym. However, I also know that supplements can be taken safely and help out a lot.

right now I am using n02, creatine, whey protein and a multi-vitamin. And so far my bench has increased to 365 (I might be able to shake 4 plates). Curl is up, and squat is up. I have bulked up pretty good too. I am at 6'1 215 33 and can still dunk easily. I play hella basketball still. And while I dont diet I do watch what eat.
I would say out my stack protein and multi-vitamin are the keys.

I hate the protein shakes w/ a passion! Before I got hurt at work I was taking, a multi-vitamin, L-glutamine, creatine, BCAA's, ZMA, and would sometimes drink a protein shake. I really need to be more consistent w/ my diet; I eat nothing but shit food or Mc Donald’s. The really reason I started this thread was more because I was curious about anabolic precursors (NOT to be confused w/ androgens or STERIODS) and if anyone has used those w/ success or if I doing to much and just need to be patient?

Whey protein and a yellow jacket or Spike Shooter for energy as needed. Creatine always made me piss every 20 minutes so I had to stop taking it.

i used to take,
BCAAs, Muscle Milk ( i still drink sometimes) V12 Turbo, Fish oil, a multivitamin.
I haven't lifted weights in a month, and now i run 5 miles a day with my engine crew and sometimes we'll do a 7 or 8 mile run, up and down hill. I have a 4 pack now and i should have my 6 pack in another month I haven't lost my size just a lot of fat.

If you dont have a cool diet, I think you will need a whey protein. I know when I added that to my workout, everything shot up.

I'm 142lbs 19yrs old, work out 4 times a week for a close to 8months now. Started off barely able to bench 110lbs on day 1..Started off taking No-xplode for a while, it worked out well and got me up in strength very fast. Repping 225lbs flat bench with the bar and 90lb dumbells on flat bench as well..I saw major improvements in every where else also, just using bench as an example. I'm not in it to gain weight or anything just good to be in shape finally again...

since supplements have to do w/ working out, what are some of your routines and how many times are people working out a week?

I haven't really wrestled seriously/competitively for a while, but i'm sure in that case we'd match up just about evenly

Supplements:
Protein shakes and that's it.
April 20th - weighed in at 180lbs and 13.3% body fat. Since then, been working on a crazy food program, crazy resistance training program, and much more cardio. Just weighed in at 170.5 last Friday.
I'm in a competition with a buddy at work. Initial bet was to see who could lose 4% the fastest - he was at 10.4%. I'm pretty sure I already got that; however, he adjusted the bet to be 'whoever loses 40% of current body fat %'. His personal goal is 6%. My damn goal is to beat him in all 3 categories - 4%, 40%, first to 6%!

dude, you were only about 6 feet and skinny as heck when you came over by my house that one day.
Am i the only one that did not grow?
I'm 5'9 and currently tip the scales at 185, have 17percent body fat according to the latest assessment. I started working out and doing jiu jitsu two weeks ago. i've been running 4 miles everyday. and doing full body work outs while monitoring my heart rate.
we'll see what that accomplishes in a month.

Zero supplements here...
cereal and fruit for breakfast
whatever everyone else at work is going to lunch
meat/potatos/salad dinner
5'11" 200lbs.
In college I benched 350lbs.
I now try to run more and tend to do "cookie cutter" lifting more for the purposes of cardio than anything else.
50-60hrs per week of work, stable relationship, paying for housing, etc... It really changes your priorities...
My #1 priority used to be trying to become the strongest swollest motha fucka I coulda be. Now if I could trade 100lbs on the bench for having 7% body fat, I'd do it in a second, lol.
I can't seem to get the diet under control for any significant amount of time!
