I recently had a fellow help me out on my engine swap. This guy "left the car outside" while working on it and supposebly the car was stripped for the Edelbrock Intake, 24's, and throttle body.
Heres the issue, I only had 1 key( which he had), There was no forced entry in the car, and i strongly belive for that effort of taking out all those things (especially at night on a busy streey) a thief would be safer stealing the whole car and stripping it at a safe place rather than doing it rigght in front of the house. This leads me to believe the guy had something to do with it if not he did it.
WHAT CAN I DO? Theres already a police report.
Can he be held responsible? Any advise would be great thanks

Nothing you can do. You've filed a report, so unless you feel like getting yourself into trouble (by beating his @ss) you're done.

Small claims court. He should be insured and responsible for vehicles on his property.

Was it at a shop? Then I'd say hell yeah he is responsible, unless its posted or stated somewhere he isn't. If it was at a resedence then I'd think your SOL.
Either way your situation sucks!!
