If you can afford to buy an Enzo, you can afford to replace it.
I don't blame the driver at all either. Put a bunch of amateurs out on a track in a $1.2 mil car with a cement barrier at the end of a fast turn. What else can you expect? They didn't even have any tire stacks in front of it (not that it would have helped much in this instance)

no, but if you give the gun to a 12 year old who's clueless about handling a gun, then who should be responsible? The kid, the gun, or the person who put them in charge?
Maybe a different example. I go to the track and see a kid with little experience drag racing. I give him my 500rwhp car and say, here, take if down the strip. He loses it and crashes. Who's at fault? the unexperienced kid? Or am i responsible for knowingly putting someone with little experience behind the wheel of such a formidable vehicle? How could i hold him accountable for his actions? [ March 27, 2007, 08:30 PM: Message edited by: Jmir018 ]

I'm going to have to say that will buff right out.
Seriously though, $1M is a lot of room to repair a car... even a Ferrari. I'm betting that it'll get repaired if he can get his insurance company to foot the bill for a car wrecked on a track.

Here's an example for you...If I told somebody to jump off a bridge, is it my fault they died 'cause they did as I said?...Fuck no, it's their own fault for being that damn stupid...
If you give your car to anyone, Jeff Gordon for example, and he crashes it drag racing, you have nobody to blame but yourself....It's your car and your responsibility, true.....You make a good points, but he's not a 12 year old kid who's never held a gun before!!....He's a grown man who's probably had his driving license for 20+ years and someone that should be able to make his own decisions...Unfortunately, he just doesn't know how to drive and told everyone that AFTER he crashed a beautiful exotic car....
Atleast Eddie was hella cool and admitted that he couldn't drive....I like it when the newscaster asked him, "what were you thinking?"...And he said, "I was thinking WALL!, that's what I was thinking!"....lol
peace

Sorry man, but the jumping off of a bridge analogy doesn't hold, not for this case anyway. Totally different scenarios . My using of a weapon one doesn't either. that's why i offered a second example.
I could give my car to my mother who's driven for 20 years and ask her to drive down the strip. She'd probably get a faster time than me, since she's Asian and drives like a maniac, but.. if she crashed.. then it'd be my fault for letting her drive in the first place knowing she was not qualified. Simple license and prior driving experience do not cut it. we all should know that.
He's a funny mofo though.
