Hey guys, a few people have asked to see some pics of our work, projects that we have completed as well as what we are working on currently. So I gathered up some pics from Chuck, Shaun and myself to just give some insite into what we have going on around here.
Also here are the links to the Ford Muscle articles on our own builds.
This motor was built by Shaun, for his wifes car, in his spare time while employed at HCI years ago. http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2005/10/BuildersNotebook/index.php
I think most people are familiar with my setup. http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2005/02/YellowFever/
Current Stroker Build Check out the size of these exhaust ports! Who is this guy?
Lightning project. Out with the old built motor. In with the new motor, fuel system and suspension while converting from Whipple to Turbo. Install near complete. Back at the track! Nearly as fast as the Whipple with half the boost. Wait until we crank this thing up! [ March 02, 2007, 03:16 PM: Message edited by: Yellow94GT ]

Thought you might like that.
If you look back at the pics you can see your car on the dyno/lift when I was pulling the old motor out of the Lightning.

Jeff's got a PSCA Drag radial project car of his own at the shop. It's been a long time in the making....built to go high 8's, but I have a feeling by the time it's done, it won't be a cometitive car. Those DR cars are INSANE!
If we had customers that wanted a PSCA setup....we'd have no problem doing the build.

Yes. & Thanks.
I did that motor much like the wife's N/A 347 in the Fordmuscle article. Only less cubes & much, much milder....& quite a bit stronger. Still dialing in the drivetrain & boost... & by the pics it looks like I need to do work on the suspenssion as well.

We farm it out to a buddy. He does great work, but he lives east of Sac....it's quite a drive so we only drag him out to San Jose when it's a job that's worth the drive.

We have a select few machine shops that do our machine work for us.
As of now we don't have the money or the space to do the machine work ourselves. [ March 03, 2007, 01:02 AM: Message edited by: Yellow94GT ]

We do not have a machine shop. We farm that out as well....but only to the best in town (Sac). We pay more & it takes longer because the shop we use is always busy, but I'd rather spend the $$$ on getting things done right the first time....even if we have to wait a few extra weeks. They machine the parts to our specs & do a damn fine job balancing. We choose all the parts that we use & do all the assembly.

11.7 @ 121 on 9psi.
This is correct. The MPH is with in 1 MPH of its best with 20+ psi from the Whipple or KB. The ET is hurting due to the fact that the truck still has the TQ converter that was setup for instant boost from the twin screw, not a spooling 76mm hair dryer.
