Haven't been on here in a while, just thought I would stop in and say hi... I'm going to be in the bay for the next few weeks, thought I might be able to meet a few of you at a gtg or something... anyway, hope you like the pics, there are a lot of em...

I made 747/640 SAE (774/674 uncorrected) on my birthday 1/30/07 on 15 psi and pump gas with some Torco... ran a 10.71 @ 139 a couple weeks ago as it sits on the DRs... (1.726 short time, tire shake in 1st, 2nd and 3rd over 5K rpm) It's got a low 10 easy in it on my Quick Times (maybe a 9), just got to get some cash together to get it back to the track.
Edit it weighed 3565 with me in it too... [ February 26, 2007, 11:02 PM: Message edited by: STROKD ]

F8L... the tires in the pics are 335/35 DRs.
The tires in the vids are 28x11.5x15 hoosier Quick Time Pros... About the biggest thing I can get on the car. The 335s stick out about an inch, which is worth it for the extra inch or so of tire on each side for traction. [ February 26, 2007, 11:32 PM: Message edited by: STROKD ]

the rim offset is perfect for the car, they stick out because of a 3/8 inch spacer I added for the tires... with 315s on them the tires fit flush with the fenders... They are Performance Wheel Outlet replicas with I think a 6 7/8" backspace. The axles are 31 spline Mosers in a factory fox body length. I would prefer the flush look, but I need all the tire I can get... a 355 would be nice if they made it and some 13 inch wheels.

No I never heard of it, probably not in the Dallas area... most of the racing around here is covert and very small organized... when we get groups of 500+ cars together, it attracts half of the police force. Usually only 10-20 of us go out at a time to different spots to spread cops around. Freeway racing is lame, but it is a lot harder to get caught due to a cop can't block you in if you never stop, and they won't catch up to two or three cars that pass them at 150+.
