What do you prefer and why?
I have a feeling everyone is going to say 67/68 but I personally like the 65/66 years better in a fastback. They're just a little cleaner.
but definitely 67-68 drop

I've got a 65 fastback. Problem is I just don't ever have time to finish it up. Motor and trans are ready to go in.

65-66 fastback. I always thought the 1965-1966 fastbacks overall were the cleanest, and look good from any angle. No bloat anywhere.

65-66 for sure. They have the cleanest lines, they look good in any form (fully restored, restromod, or full blown race car), and there not a big oll’ boat that the 67 and up are. But I am a bit biased because my first Mustang was a 65 GT “K” code coupe . Boy do I miss that car.
But damn the prices for fastbacks are outrageous!!

I love the 65-66, but there definatly is nothing wrong with 67-68. I would be more than happy to own and drive either style.

67-68 Fastback. I like the rear lights, i like how the Fastback part slopes down more instead of coming to a complete stop at the trunk. I've always liked the 67-68 Fastbacks because of this, not because i own one ![[Wink]](wink.gif)
