ok so i got this jeep (same jeep in my sig) and I call it "the commander" just for the fact that it just keeps on ticking. Well my goal is to hit 400,000+ thousand miles on it. But Its been in my family for over a decade and a half and I'm not planning on retiring it even when the motor takes a dump.
Now I've heard of people swapping in 5.0 motors in Jeep Wranglers and such. Is it possible to swap in a fuel injected 5.0L and AOD with less hassle in a Jeep Cherokee? I think this would make an excellant tow vehicle with the above drivetrain. I also would want it to comply with smog laws.
Welp flood gates are open any thoughts and suggestions to help me think along the right path is greatly apprecieated
