Well,I went back to the dyno today with the SSP Coupe, I had some mass air meter problems that I figured out, so had to retune it. I went from 458 RWHP & 463 RWTQ to 474.57 RWHP & 473.98 RWTQ. I am very happy with the numbers since I built the whole car from spare parts.

Thats a good jump up in power to the ground. What was the problem with the mass air?

Lee, was this with 110 octane?
If so, how much power would you be sacrificing with a tune that would allow you to run 91 octane all the time? [ January 12, 2007, 11:13 PM: Message edited by: Luke87GT ]

The MAF problems obviously weren't too severe, it didn't pick up alot. Nice numbers though. What cam?

I really dont know what cam is in the motor, I got the longblock from Phat50, but it sounds like an E303 cam.
I really dont know what numbers it would make on 91 octance, but with 14lbs boost and 24 degrees of total timing I think 110 octane is the key, otherwise I would have to retard more timing out of it, but I do have a 91 octane tune for my Coupe but didnt get that measured.
I am running the small valve Edelbrock Performer heads.
My setup is Edelbrock Performer heads, GT-40 intake, 306, cam, S-trim, Bassani full exhaust.
The mass air was installed backwards, I got the mass air meter with the air filter already installed, so I didnt notice it and installed it like that. I ran great on full throttle but driving in traffic you knew there was a problem.
