so i just bought another stang last week.. a 98 vert GT... i didn't even trip that the Cruise Control on the steering wheel was missing... what y'all think?? there was nothin on the carfax but it just makes me think, why would someone take CC off the car???!!! how hard is it to re-install the controls???

There are some cars that did not come with it. My buddy has a '00 that did not come with CC from the factory.

i removed mine from my 00 gt when i did a motor swap. it is pretty simple to install, but it is a little bit of a pain in the @$$ trying to get to the module in the driver side fender well.

is there anyway to find out if it came from the factory with CC and was removed by an owner?

i'm not really sure, but I would assume if it didn't have the controls on both sides of the steering wheel that it probably didn't have it. my cruise control was another cable that was attached to my throttle body that ran into my driver's side fender well.

im gonna check the fuse box as well and see if there is a fuse there... i noticed it's only 2 screws to get it off.... plus i also notice a lil connector kinda hanging... maybe it didn't come with it but that is pretty odd for a fully loaded vert, dont ya think...
