JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Miss
Israel has been given permission not to carry her assault rifle during service in the Israeli army because she says it bruises her legs.


Reigning beauty queen Yael Nezri, a private who recently completed basic training, said the bruises were making it difficult for her to model in photo shoots.

The Jerusalem Post reported that Nezri, 18, had been granted an exemption by her commanders during her two-year army stint.

Every able Israeli HAS to perform 2 years of military service. That means a model too. That means she has no choice. Haven't you ever wondered why they win every war they ar in. It is because everyone knows how to use a gun and they will use it when needed.

yeap. mandatory arm forces recruitment.
LEt's be glad the US is not like that.
Peru had that shit going until just 4-5 years ago. If you turned 18 and were done with highschool you would have to go and present yourself at different military offices, they would take you for 3 years (i'm not sure about length). Imagine that.. Wasting 3 years of your life doing nothing but being abused beaten and treated like a pos...
Glad they took that out.
Now it is optional and our arm forces have taken a turn for the best. now, the only ones that join are the ones that have a vocation for it, which is the way it should be.
