Yup just wondering. I used to be an audio dude back in the day and I'm getting back into it now. I still have a few Orion, US Amps and Soundstream amps laying around. I also still have some RE XXX's too. I just picked up a set of Quart QSD's for my Supra. No room for a sub but plenty for some mids and highs. I was thinking of putting either my Orion 225 or 250 hcca or my Soundstream Reference 300 up to the speakers. What do y'all think?
Here's some stuff I have laying around. Most of the stuff is old school but its good stuff:
2 Orion 225 hcca 2 Orion 250 hcca 1 Orion 2100 hcca 1 Orion 2150 sx 1 Soundstream reference 300 1 PPI Pro Mos 450 1 US Amps vacuum tube TU600 1 US Amps USA 400 1 US AMpos USA 200 2 RE XXX 12s 1 RE XXX 10 1 RE XXX 18 1 Adire Brahma 12 1 kicker comp 18 LOL! hahahahah yah I love old school high current amps as you can tell. I even had some Autotek shit up until a year ago when I gave them to my brother. Speaking of old school crossovers I still have the PPI OMX 432! But the hccas are my overall favorites. 1/2 ohm stable, clean, high current, great transition and loud as hell! Can be used for mids/highs or bass.
Yep Tony I had the Zapco 3 amp board way back in the day. Talk about old ass shit. Was clean but not very loud!
No nothing is for sale. This is stuff I plan to keep its hard to find this shit nowadays. Well the only thing I would sell is the kicker comp 18 and that thing has been beat to death!

I actually retail adire audio. Ive been out of the game for like a year or two cause Adire hasnt been shipping but im trying to get back into it. There are a few companies now that are making 6.5" subs that you may be interested it since you have almost no space. If you liked ur brahma check out mpyre audio. they have leases the xbl^2 technolgy from adire and put it in a 6.5" sub. elemental designs just released a 6.5" sub. if depth is your problem check out acoustic elegance. 2.5" deep subs. Im thinkin bout putting those AE subs into my doors of my fox

Have you listened to any of those 6.5" subs you mentioned? Just curious about what your impressions were. Also, will just mounting them in a door location give them the proper enclosure?

ive heard the ED 6.5s in an open air setup and they sounded ok. but that could prolly be the fact that it was an open air setup. Ive been trying to hear the mpyre. i know a bimmer fag that put on in his car in the stock location and hes preety impressed. i would like to hear for myself. i havnt heard the acoustic elegance ones but im planning on building a sealed enclosure for um in my door.

You ever try RE stuff? They use xbl2 in their XXX line. I've never tried mpyre. A friend had an ED12 and it sounded nice but didn't have the great bottom end transition as the XXX does. And it couldn't handle nearly the amount of power. Of course much of this could have been due to the enclosure. But it was just a regular ported enclosure 2 cu feet tuned to 35 hz.
