YEAH same here, i dunno how they do it. when i had my 95 gts that sucker would avg about 150 miles and wouldn't even hit 200miles on the freeway with typical driving. my old 03 cobra would get over 250 miles easily and near 300..not too shabby for a blown 4.6.

Wow, thats good stuff.
I think that for some reason the 94-95's can get better MPG's than the fox cars. But that may just be my observations.

I guess coz I just cruise it/never really get on it. Stock except for Ebay CAI, BBK 70 mm, ASP pullies, & 2 chamber Flows. Maybe when I get a better sounding exhaust, I'll be gettin on it more. I'm sure the gas mileage will go down [ October 03, 2006, 08:19 PM: Message edited by: STREETFIGHTER50 ]

I agree, gas milage depends a lot on how and where you drive. If you drive a lot in the city and get on it all the time you are going to get shit for gas milage.
If you cruise on the freeway at 65mph you are going to get pretty good milage.
My '92 had all the bolt on's (intake, exhaust, gears, pulleys, ignition, roller rockers, and 24lb injectors) except heads and a power adder and I was getting 23mpg freeway.

i get about 240-270 on a full tank and almost running it dry. the only mods i have (and can get away with) is a true duel exhaust. i have 3.27's and a 27" tall tire in the rear. i am sure going to a roller rocker would help alittle as well.

I've done 280 miles on 11 gallons in my foxbody, that's leaving 4 gallons in there...according to math I could have gone 381.8 miles if I ran the tank dry

Even with all the mods I have done to the cobra, I believe it still gets better mileage than my 98 ranger.

I must have alot of stuff wrong with my car.... the best I've ever seen is 240 running the tank dry all freeway mileage. Usually when I drive, I don't go above 2500 rpms either.
