I got new flow bindings after killing my ankles on my old shitty click in's and some new boots but hate the boots! Looking for a more "SHOE" like boot. Something not so friggin thick, any suggestions?
I've had the same rossignol board since I started boarding.
And since I totalled my wifes Mountaineer my last trip boarding I get to use the Quattro this season [ September 18, 2006, 07:10 PM: Message edited by: Jdub07 ]

Who here likes the flow bindings. I got a pair last season and I love them. I'm not the best rider but can ride.

I like mine. Some of them are cheaper though and can break. If you can, get the ones with the metal bottoms not plastic if you are jumping a lot and putting any kind of beating on your board.
The ones with plastic bottoms are still really good, just have more tendency to break is all, still a good binding for the money.
TRIX thanks for the suggestion I'll look into them.

This is mine. It's an ok board. It's an Oxygen Photo 157mm. I have M3 full aluminum bindings.
I want to go out this year, but since I am still getting used to it, I have to be careful. Last year I bailed and broke my right leg at the tibial plateau. It hurt like hell becuase it stressed all the muscles around it.

All I have are my boots from VANS. Got them for a steal $117 regular $299.
I'm trying to get the BURTON BARON ES board, but can't find the board and price I want.

Just picked up some new boots last night.
They are brand new 03/04 Demo Boots made by Flow with Boa laceing system. They are Freestyle/Freeride boots and very lightweight.
CAN'T WAIT FOR THE SNOW!!!!

For those of you with BOA style lacing systems BE WARE!
I think i made a post about this last season when i was up at Sierra my VANS w/ BOA lacing decided to fail while i was luckily just cruising down the mountain not doing any jumps but all of a sudden NO tension
Thought it just needed to be re-adjusted but they actually failed where they were connected at the boot.
So i should say the lacing system didn't fail just how they were attattched to the boot itself.
VANS did take care of them but i opted not to go the BOA way as rec. by many other boarders.
Just be aware

Yup I remember your post Trix. I just talked to the guy I picked up my boots from last night. He said if I wanted to tade for the same boot he has them not in the boa system. Don't know though. I kinda like the idea of twist of the wrist and its tight,...

I think it all comes down to how and what you ride.
As i'm getting better i'm getting a bit more courageous trying more and bigger jumps, rails, boxes, etc. so i just don't want to see what would happen if they failed while doing something like that
For overall cruising though they worked fine [ September 22, 2006, 05:22 PM: Message edited by: TRIXSNK ]
