Check out Kan Zaman on Haight street. That's a cool restuarnt/hooka bar.
You can check out the shops on Haight street during the day. Also, there is always some cool stuff going on in Golden Gate park.
For bars and nightlife you can hit 16th St. at Valencia. Also, there are some cool clubs South Of Market (like Mezzanine). You can also hang out in North Beach. There are lots of cool restuarants and bars in that area.

This is a good time of year to get some beers and hang out at Ocean Beach.

If you like Thai Food, try "Best of Thai" along Haight across from the Park.
You can take the Ferry to Alcatraz. Shop along Embarcadero or eat at Bubba Gumps along Fishermans wharf. The $2.50 clam chowder bowls are bomb as well. Save a $1 for Bushman, too.
Love Parade will be tight. Watch out for traffic though I would take Public transporation.
