I also liked him.. i would never look for his shows, but if his show was on, i would most of the time just watch it entirely. which is unusual for me.
RIP.
Wonder if the documentary will ever make it to the air, i'm sure they've got footage of him getting hit on the chest/

Actually rays do sting all the time. They rarely kill someone. It's just the fact that he had his heart pierced by one. I've had several rays try to sting me with their tail when I go wade fishing. Luckily, I had some ray proof boots on to protect me.
