you my freind are fucked. Speed contest is a streetracing ticket! Did they impound your car? If they didnt you are very lucky!! I strongly sugest you get a lawyer. It is a two point major for insurance and stays on your dmv for 7 years! Speed contest wil easily double to tripple your insurance if you have full coverage. T You will probably have to make 3-5 court apperances unless your lawyer shows up on behalf of you. This ended up costing me over 10 grand. P.S. if they did impound your car for mandatory 30 days start saving up now. At a minimum the tow yard is going to charge you 2500!! If you do not pick it up 1 week after the 30 day impound they can lein sale your car!
Wish you luck!

Yeah, if you honestly think you didn't do it then fight it. Speed contest means that you were either spectating a race, racing another car or timing device....I got a SC last year and my plea bargain was reckless driving which is still shit...it was a 1000 fine and 2 points...and my impound fee was 1500...sucks man....good luck fighting it!!!

Police are no good, they think that by giving these traffic tickets that we have to pay things are going to be o.k., hell no traffic violations have been bad and people have been driving very fast everyday, giving out tickets is just making the situation worser, that safety excuse is old news
