Yeehaw one more month till I am on vacation. I will be on my way to Oahu, Hawaii.
So how many people have been to Oahu before? I've only been to Kaui and Maui. This will be my third time going to the islands. I love Hawaii so much, like I've told you guys before I'm considering moving there, and I was wondering if anyone has lived in Hawaii before, the more I search for a place to stay and a job the more excited I get, new and better opportunities await.
Even though I do have some opportunities here I think they would be better there. Plus I'll be moving out of the house for the first time. And yes most likely I will be purchasing a Mustang when I get to hawaii. Also maybe a beater or a motorcycle.
Oh well I just want to hear your thoughts on this. I was born and raised in this state but maybe it's time for me to venture out some more and be on my own for awhile and see how it goes.
This means now that I have to worry about quitting my current job which won't be a problem and I'll probably have to sell my tercel which will give me some extra cash but not a lot. I think it's time I just get my life in order and be on my own for awhile. Hey but I'm looking forward to it.

Hawaii is an awesome state. My uncle lives on Kauai as a matter of fact (retired). One thing I will warn you about is the lack of things to do over there. Yes, it is a great place to VISIT but once you live there, it is a different story. A friend of mine who just moved BACK from Hawaii said that he got bored with the islands. He was born in California and said the main reason he came back is because he experienced EVERYTHING within a year. The islands are tiny (in comparison to California) and they don't take very long to explore.
To each his own! I love the islands and I will go back for sure... to visit.

I've been to the big island once, maui twice and oahu 5 or 6 times...there's definately lots of tourist nighlife in the wakiki area... Booze cruises are fun if you can get on one. Then there are all the pub crawls. People are usually handing out flyers for this kind of stuff. Have fun

dang...ill be there at the end of the month.. my first impression after going to all the other islands was that the waikiki area is like sf...too many sky scrapers...but its still fun. lots of shit to do. the guys there go way too far in customizing their rides...but then again...its a different lifestyle there.

Yeah trust me, they're slow. I don't think they go over 30 mph, I tried last time I went to Kaui. A month left for me. I'm still debating whether I want to move or not.
