After 6 years, yes 6 years from the time it first started out in Griggs shop and then to HCI, I have finally brought home my bad boy! Some of you might have seen it briefly last Sat. in Pleasanton.
On Saturday, I went to get my car from HCI and with the awesome work done correctly by 93Pony, I know that it will be here to stay!
Much little stuff to do but I am excited to bring it to this years car show! I took some pix and will post soon. It is so bad ass, words right now can't describe how it feels to have it back!

Wow thats awesome. Finally! How come it was at HCI for so long? Are you going to keep this car forever now since you've gone through so much with it? lol [ June 06, 2006, 12:58 PM: Message edited by: Cobra5.0Jeep ]

If anyone looks back and find some old posts on my car you can get a better understanding on what really happened, however, short story...
I took my car to Griggs and unfortunately the motor broke 5 times blaming me everytime. I finally said enough and took it to HCI after seeing WKD281 built there... Being that I am currently funding every motor so far...the delay with HCI was not there fault but my own. Just didn't have the funds fast enough and they were willing to take there time and set it aside until I had the money. Being that this was a special case involving Griggs, the situation was delicate.
Now I had a remaining balance and decided to get my car! With all the money on this car, I could have bought a house..lawl...but this is my hobby and I love cars! I have pix when I first picked up the car at HCI and will upload them soon.
I will get 93Pony to post some specs on the work that he did. I am very happy with his work!

LMAO...Legal issues with Griggs Racing are still pending...just have to look it as retirement money at the rate this is going...
Seriously though...I just spoke to my lawyer and this will take another year or two. As soon as I hear anything, I will post it. The drama saga continues...

Wow!!! I was just thinking about your car the other day and wondering if you were ever going to see it run again. I remember seeing it run on one of the many Grigg's motors through the Livermore hills 3 years ago or so. I'm happy to here you have the car back. Guess I'll have to make my way to the show now to see it.
