the blue interior is coming out of my car and i want to put some newer interior in it. black interiors are starting to get played out since everyone and their grandma has it now. this is for a coupe with sonic blue paint.

with that color of a car, i'd say go for black interior but it'll more than likely cost ya a good penny.

I would say gray, for the choice you presented. But full white would look pretty ill... But will cost alot. I have blk int. And I regret it around this time of year, it's hella hot in stockton.

How are black interiors played out? They look the best in my opinion and will look the best against sonic blue. SonicLX's car is that exact same thung and will look awesome

It doesnt get that hot in Hayward, but it can get uncomfortable if you get the black leather. I honestly would go gray. And not the medium grey. Try to get your hands on the titanium gray, looks alot better.
Are your trying to go twead and vinyl or all leather?

my car gets pretty uncomfortably hot on a long drive on a hot day.
no a/c, black leather interior, all sound deadoning removed under the carpet (heat from exhaust and tranny gets in )
good thing the vents work and the windows go down [ June 06, 2006, 04:14 PM: Message edited by: blind ]

Mine is black car with all black leather interior also no A/C.
I'm hearing you on the HOTTTT, hot a shit!! But to me,...worth it.
Last meet I went to I was supprised at the large number of fox's that had black interior like 8-10 out of 200 cars and most of those needed some help with cracking and fading. I don't see it as being played out.
If you don't want black then the gray leather would be cool but it needs to be like NEW condition. To me gray is the hardest interior to maintain...more so than white.
Good luck

I agree with Jdub....I havent seen many black ints that are in good condition. I live in Stockton and its a killer in the summer. My int is near flawless especially now since I bought spddvl's 98 seats and I get few compliments here and there so its worth it to me.

I love my all stock black interior. Its the best color IMO. It looks with just about every color. It just has a cleaner look, if it maintained of course. IMHO it also increases the value of your car. Black interior is the most sought after interior schemes in the 5.0 market, hence all the conversions. Gray would be my 2nd choice but when the gray starts to wear it starts to look all funky from all the years and it just doesn't keep that fresh crisp look like black does. I never complain about the heat from the interior, I just drop the top [ June 06, 2006, 07:23 PM: Message edited by: CLEEN 50 ]

A friend of mine painted his pieces and it looks real good but it is kinda obvious its paint. If you do it take your time with each piece. Use the grime stripper stuff, then the adhesion promoter, the the paint. 50resto sells the paint you should use.

I'd do all original black peices if you are going black. But it will be hard to find top of the line peices and will take some time. If you not in a hurry,... my opinion is get original peices.
