I've been working NON-STOP since I was 14. Saved up to buy my first stang when I was 18. Graduated high school. Few years of junior college, still working towards my finance/accounting degree (slowly but surely). If I was able to just go to college full-time I would of been done by now, but having a full-time job, saving for a house, and living on my own is anything but easy. I'm going at a snails pace, but I am happy with my life. I've worked here at GENENTECH, Inc. for around 3 years already and I have a feeling I'm going to be here for a while plus I have an opportunity to develop myself and build a career here. I love my mustang, but it's a money pit. I would save every nickel and dime, but thats just no fun. I say if you work hard the you deserve to spend your money on whatever you want. I enjoy building up my mustang, it's a love/hate relationship. Whenever a part breaks just replace it with something better . Right now I'm in the hate part of it, since my tranny blew up

I go to work 8 hours every day but I wouldn't call it hard work. I'm a DSA inspector, we inspect school construction projects. The pay is great and the stress is low. I did pay my dues as a roofer for three years, that sucked.

Computer Engineer and I work for Fish and Wildlife as a Network/Server Administrator. The thing that pisses me off is I knew everything that I do now BEFORE I went to college. Any of you tech guys need any new employees, because I am looking for a new job and I only make $57,000 a year. [ June 01, 2006, 01:49 AM: Message edited by: truthseeker ]

How do you make 75k? It says on the SacSheriff website that $41,342.40 is the annual base salary.
I'm not calling you out or anything I'm just curious how you make so much more.
