I have the 2000 Cobra R (18"x9.5") wheels with 285/35/18 tires on my '94 GT. They fit just perfectly on the wheels and they look great with no rubbing (but very close). If you plan on rolling the rear fenders, then I'd say go for the 295/35/18 tires.
