hey fellas i got some pics to post up from the ford vs GM shootout today. I didnt take most of the pics as i was on the track most of the day. so there are hella clean cars that i missed. there were cars doin wheel hops (john B) and some RX-7's stuffed with LS-1 motors. And i wanted to get some pics of Rixsickcobra but he didnt run. ![[Frown]](frown.gif) but yeah heres what i do got. and i hope to see all the people i missed out at the gallop around the bay on the 13th.

Man i had one eventful day. I ran a quickest of 14.07. I tried my hardest to run 13's but im still learning the car. I had one run tho that was crazy. What color is your Cobra? i saw some nice looking Cobras.

Laser Red is the best red color made. i am going to paint my 68 Fastback Laser Red. My dad's 98 Cobra is laser red. He kept saying when we were leaving that he should have brought it down cause he could have gotten a lot of runs in but i think it was dead because we got there late. We'll be there this friday with it. He wants to run it before we install the XFI F.A.S.T system in it.

Good pics... I'm Dave with the Laser red 98 Cobra. My best time was 13.8 @ 103. Pretty good for an 8.5.1 motor! Time for a blower!
And it was a good race between me and Terrance! Too bad I fell asleep at the light and got like a 1.1 reaction time! Ha

His best was 11.3 @ 126 with another guy driving, and with him driving he went 12.1 @ 129.5! He made 665 to the wheels after a nice cooling session with a giant fan, ha.

Hell yeah corajo. the next time we have a track event im definitely bringn the 5.0. unless i get my gears and control arms on the cobra by then.... i was kind a jealous that you had the only t-top 4 eye out there. and yours was hella fast tho. I always wanted to get my t-top to move like yours. i wanted to go home and park the cobra and pull my t-top out the garage. I think you and i woulda been killn em if we both were up there wit the tops off. next time tho.....
