How much are those? like 13k? Man....I almost feel like giving in and buying one of these cheap new gas saving cars rather than get a used luxury car.

Awesome!!! It's a Yaris. I was looking into one of those also, but the hatchback version. Break it in and post an update later on the MPG. It has a gas engine right? Not one of those electric hybrids... garbage batteries...

I am actually looking into getting one of these, only thing that bothers me is that it starts to get up to 16k when you add in all the shit and you can't even get it with leather.
The real deal breaker for me is the 106hp engine. Can't deal with that!

ya no hybrid crap for now. the hatch version is sooo small. i payed 15k out the door and got top tier financing my orginal plan was to sell the cobra and buy a new 4x4 trd tacoma, but monthly payments would have been more than but the yaris and cobra combined, then gas mileage would suck ass, so this was the solution can you say 4:30's and drag radials for the cobra now!

Is that the M5 or A5?
My wife has an '06 Civic EX 4 door auto 5 speed and it is claimed 30mpg in town and 40mpg on the freeway. So far (with 7,500 miles on it) we have gotten a best average of 36mpg on freeway trips (with 80-85mph averages) and 26mpg in town...
I'm pissed.

How's the mpg going with the Yaris? I might be doing the super commute next month. From Oakland to San Jose and back. So, I might have to put the Mustang up for sale. Sad sad day when it does happen for me...

Brian, that Civic milage is the "instant MPG" and not an average for a tank I bet. You know how people like to quote their milage that they see on the DIC rather than what is calculated at the pump over the average of a tankful.
Nice car man. We need to line our DDs up at Sac one night. My Prius vs your Yaris!
One thing I find amusing is the build quality vs my American cars. 100% better than any American car I've ever owned.

I bought a 1991 Honda Accord that gives me 30 mpg for 2200.00 in August of last year.
I have saved more money then this car is worth! Everyone should get something like this, dirt cheap, reliable, looks like crap so noone will mess with it.
