Check this baby out, I finally got it yesterday, I paid 1,500 for it and it's worth every penny at least to me it is. I hope the pics work.

It's called Akai and I bought it from someone on craigslist.org that already had one and decided to sell this one. 1500 for a 42 inch plasma without having to pay taxes on it is an awesome deal. I have warrenty on it and everything for parts and labor.
And I have comcast digital cable as my provider.

my dad just bought a new 42" plasma also. its a panasonic, the PANASONIC, TH-42PHD8UK PLASMA DISPLAY 42" but he bought it from as store in vacaville called THE STUPID PRICE STORE and basicaly they sell everything for hella cheap. and he got his tv for $1700

Not true. Most of those "Known Brands" do not even make there own parts. There are very few companies that actually make there own parts especially on Plasma's. Go to remotecentral.com or www.audioreview.com and do some research on them.
