well its time to register my car and well since it will not pass smog (help) my idea is to drive it with a Dealer Plate on it?????? Never driven with Dealer Plates......What you guys think???

pay the money and get the low down smog you wont last long driving with those plates man been there done that

I don't think I'll have problem with the dealer plates since they are going to be actuall dealer plate from a car-lot.

dlr plates might work for a little bit, but if you get pulled over, expect no mercy from the cop.

so are you actually going to pull your old plates off and put the dealer plates on? They must be affixed to the vehicle. You will also carry the dealer insurance and your dealer feels comfortable with this? DO you have your salesperon's license?

Man, just do it right... its not worth it to get caught! Just put your smog crap back on, smog it and if you want, pull it back off.
some work? yes... not getting boned by a cop for doing something illegal... VERY good.
